Cushioned Equestrian Surfaces

ARENASAFE
ARENASAFE is a suite of products designed to overcome the problems encountered with traditional surfaces used in an active equestrian environment. ARENASAFE products are made from polyurethane resin bound rubber crumb mixed with a patented binder, laid in situ and can be either porous or impervious.

ARENASAFE surfaces will:
• Provide a light cushioning effect to relieve stress in horse’s joints thereby reducing injuries and lameness.
• Absorb impact falls minimising injury
• Not freeze in winter
• Stay in place
• Reduce maintenance
• Improve traction
• Eliminate slipping
• Allow multipurpose uses
• Be cooler than a deep sand layer in summer

ARENASAFE products are a similar concept to the highly successful children’s Safety Play surfaces but are more robust. Each installation is tailor made and laid in situ, to create either a porous or impervious cushioned surface. For high visual impact, Parade rings, walkways and show areas can be topped with a coloured non-slip surface incorporating Logo’s letters or numbers. For work areas and Arena’s a thin sand topping fills any voids and gives the appearance of a traditional finish.
